The Project Workbook

Five applied settings · In Italian

How does the same project structure adapt to a nursing home and to a primary school class, to a neurorehabilitation ward and to a community mental health centre? This workbook answers with the only convincing means: five complete projects, written out in full, ready to be studied and adapted. It is the operational twin of "Designing Music Therapy Projects".

Why this workbook exists

Because the structure of a project is only truly understood when you see it filled in. For each of the five projects you find documented context and needs, measurable goals, methodology, timeline, a budget checked item by item, an evaluation plan, risks and continuity — with the realistic numbers of today's Italy.

They are not templates to photocopy: they are examples to question, alongside the structure of the manual they accompany.

What you find in the PDF (37 pages)

3 · Neurological rehabilitation

5 · Mental health
A recovery-oriented music group for adults
For every project
The complete eleven-section structure, from abstract to essential bibliography

Frequently asked questions

Are the five projects real?

They are realistic but imaginary: settings, people and names are invented, while context data, objectives and budgets are plausible for Italy today and arithmetically consistent. They are not templates to photocopy: they are examples to study and adapt.

Which settings do they cover?

Five: a care home for people with dementia, a group of children with ADHD, rehabilitation after stroke, a prevention project in a secondary school, and a recovery-oriented mental health programme. Each is worked through from beginning to end with the same eleven sections.

How do you adapt one of them to your own setting?

By changing what the setting dictates — numbers, timing, organisational constraints, available measures — and keeping the logical chain: identified need, objectives that follow from it, consistent activities, indicators that can prove your expectations wrong.

Is it useful for a thesis?

Yes: it shows how an intervention is documented from needs analysis to final feedback, and it is the practical companion to «Progettare in musicoterapia», whose vocabulary it uses.
